How do I buy services and sign up as a Buyer? Top...
If you are new to FreelanceWarriors, click the Buyer link at the top or bottom of any page and you will be guided through the registration process.

How does it work? Top...
After signing up, you may "Create A Project" and provide all the details of the service you want. Seller's will then be able to view your project and bid on it. This is similar to an auction, with an expiry date whereby you communicate wtih the Seller and negotiate terms on a private message board.

Once negotiated, you choose the winning bidder yourself. The chosen Seller will then have the option of accepting your agreed upon terms or declining them within a specified time frame.

If he/she doesn't not respond within the specified time frame (ususally 24 hrs) the Buyer then has the option of extending his/her project. If the Seller responds within the said time frame, he/she will then begin to work on your project.

How do I communicate with a Seller? Top...
You may post messages on the message private boards. If you post a private message, only the Seller it is addressed to will be able to see it. That Seller will also be notified by e-mail that you posted a message to him.

Creating projects is totally free! But there are a few trasactions that require additional fees. Trasactions such as featured projects, urgent projects and upgrades have a small fee. All fees associated with buying and selling are clearly displayed when you log onto your FreelanceWarriors account.

Do I have to add money to my account? Top...
Not right away, but eventually you will probably have to when paying a Seller the agreed upon fees or if the Seller requests that the project fees are placed into "Safe Keeping".

Your freelancewarriors account is basically like a bank account. You need to have funds in order to do certain transactions. There are primarily two types of transactions that require a positive balance in your account.

1) Paying Sellers Once your project has been completed by a seller you will have to pay that Seller. Before you can accept any bids from Sellers your account needs to be funded. In order to do a "Safe Transfer" at the end of a successful project your account will need to have sufficient funds in order to pay the Seller.

2) Paying Fees Creating projects is totally free. But in order to receive additional features there is a small fee. For instance, if you'd like to post an urgent project or if you'd like your project to be a featured project and be displayed prominently on the main website area, then a small fee is charged by freelancewarriors.com. In order to be able to pay these fees your account needs to be sufficiently funded.

Do I have to pay for services through my FreelanceWarriors account? Top...
No, you can get paid directly by the Buyer but for the sake of convenience you may wish to be paid via the FreelanceWarriors payment system. Please Note: you will be required to have suffiecient funds on account in order to cover any fees that FreelanceWarriors may charge when awarding a project.

How do I post a new project? Top...
All you have to do is open an account as a Buyer. Log into your account and click on the "Create project" link at the top of the page in your Buyer Area Secton. Once you create a project, FreelanceWarriors will automatically notify Seller who fit your project's area of expertise. You will receive an email with the new project details along with how many Seller were notified of your new projects. Seller will then Bid a price for your project. You can then accept a bid or negotiate the price via the private message posts in the project area. Once you accept a bid, you will have to wait until the Seller acknowledges. If he/she does not, you can cancel the acceptance and select another Seller at any time. If the Seller acknowledges your acceptance, then a deal is made. The Seller will then complete the project and hand it over to you. Once you are satisefied, you can pay the seller either directly or via our secure "Safe Transfer" system. We highly recommend out "Safe Transfer" system.

I accidently accepted a bid! Can I cancel it? Top...
You can cancel any accepted bid BEFORE the Seller acknowledges it. Once the Seller accepts the bid, the bid is binding. You can cancel your acceptance of a bid at any time and select another Seller's bid before the Seller has acknowledged your original acceptance.

How can I transfer money to a Seller? Top...
If you have accepted a bid placed by a Seller and that Seller has acknowledged it and is currently working on the project, you can elect to Transfer funds into his account. CAUTION! Do not transfer money to a Seller's account unless you are absolutely sure. We highly recommend the Safe Transfer system to pay Sellers. Use the Transfer at your own risk. We discourage Buyers from Transferring money into Seller's accounts before the Seller has completed the project. Once again we stress the importance of using our "Safe Transfer" system to pay sellers securely.

To transfer money into a Seller's account log into your account and click on "Transfer Money". Select the Seller you wish to transfer money to and complete the transaction.

What's a "Safe Transfer"? Top...
Safe Transfer is like an escrow service. A Safe Transfer is a guarantee to the Seller that once he/she completes the project, the invoiced project price will be paid to him/her. In order to do this, FreelanceWarriors acts as a mediating escrow service. When a Buyer accepts a bid from a seller, the project price is debited from the Buyer's account and temporarily credited into the FreelanceWarriors Safe Trasnfer Account. The money will be in this secure account until the Seller completes the project. Once completed and accepted by the Buyer, the buyer can then request us to release the funds to the Seller. Only the Buyer can autorize us to release safe transfer funds. The Seller can cancel the safe transfer is he/she so wishes. Cancelled funds are deposited back into the Buyer's account.

This Safe Transfer gives the Seller the peace of mind to complete the project without worrying whether the Buyer will pay the project price. Since the money is in the FreelanceWarriors Safe Transfer Account, the Seller is virtually guaranteed to receive the funds once the Buyer accepts the completed project. By making sure that the Buyer can pay for the project before the Seller begins working on the project, the Seller can be guaranteed of being paid at the end of the project.

Safe transfers are automatically initiated when a Buyer accepts a bid by a Seller. The funds aren't released to the Seller until the buyer autorizes it.
